Terms of Entry & Privacy Notice

Visitor & Subcontractor Sign-In

1. Who we are

This sign-in system is operated by the AFLBM group of companies and its banners (including All-Fab, Alliance Truss, Dick's Lumber, Littfin, Nu-Fab, Olympic, Pacific, Tamlin, Truline, and ZyTech) for the sites listed in this application. It records who is on our premises so we can keep people safe, reach them in an emergency, and account for everyone if a site must be evacuated.

2. What we collect

3. Location (GPS) — what it is used for

When you sign in, your browser will ask permission to share your device's location. If you allow it, your location is checked roughly every two minutes only while your visitor badge page is open, and used for exactly two purposes:

Location sharing stops when you sign out or close the badge page. We do not track you before sign-in, after sign-out, or anywhere beyond the site boundary check. You may decline the browser's location prompt and still sign in — but then you must remember to sign out yourself, and site staff may not be able to confirm your location in an emergency.

4. How long we keep it

Visit records (including location points) are kept for 24 months after sign-out and then permanently deleted. Records may be kept longer only where an incident investigation or a legal obligation requires it.

5. Who can see it

Your information is visible to authorized site and safety staff of our companies, and is processed by the service providers that run this application's hosting, text-message, and email delivery. We do not sell your information or use it for marketing. We disclose it only where the law requires (for example, to occupational health and safety authorities investigating an incident).

6. Site rules and safety

Entry is conditional on following the site rules and PPE requirements presented at sign-in, the direction of site staff, and all posted signage. Site staff may sign you out or ask you to leave at any time.

7. Subcontractors

If you sign in as a subcontractor, the Subcontractor Terms also apply to you.

8. Your rights and contact

You may ask what information we hold about you, ask for a correction, or raise a privacy concern by speaking to the site office. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the privacy commissioner for your province.
